Description
PALBACE-125MG CAP
PALBACE 125MG CAPSULE contains Palbociclib which belongs to the group of medicines called Kinase inhibitors. It is used to treat men and women with certain types of breast cancer (hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative) which have spread beyond the original tumor or to other organs. Also, for women, it is given together with aromatase inhibitors or flustering who have received prior endocrine therapy.
In pre- or perimenopausal women, endocrine therapy should be combined with a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonist. Breast cancer is defined as a malignancy (abnormal cells divide without control and can invade nearby tissues) originating from breast tissue, with symptoms like a painless lump and swelling, redness, warmth, and hardening of the skin.
There is a Patient Support Program / Patient Assistance Program (PAP) available in India for this medicine. Please contact your prescribing doctor to know more about the same.
